Chez Youen Seafood Restaurant was established in 1979 and has become one of the best known seafood restaurants in Ireland, still doing what it does best, simple but dramatic presentation of the freshest seafood in the shell sourced from Baltimore and its environs.  This restaurant is small and intimate in style and can cater for 40 people. 

Chez Youen operates on a set menu basis starting at €49.50 per person for starter, main course and dessert or cheese board, tea or coffee.  For large groups a particular set menu can be planned with the choices depending on your budget and number of people. Examples are below. 

The LookOut Restaurant opened in July 2008 and is situated above Jacob’s Bar on the square in Baltimore.  Its name derives from the fact that it has a spectacular 25 foot panoramic window overlooking Baltimore Bay & the Islands.  With its semiformal style of handmade walnut furniture, marble flooring, granite fire place, silverware and linen napkins this is an ideal venue for parties and groups from birthdays to weddings.  The restaurant has a full bar licence. 

To book a large area of the restaurant or the entire restaurant we require a booking for a minimum of 30 people and / or a maximum of 60 people for either buffet style or table service.  Please see below for examples of the type of buffet or table service we can provide.  Note the number of choices etc. is dependent on the number of people the reservation is made for.

Jacob’s Bar opened in December 2007 and has a fire certificate for up to 210 people.  The large U shaped copper counter in the centre of the bar divides the room ideally for groups and parties, whereby locals can still avail of an area of the bar while the party can go on in the larger section with its own stage and dance floor.  To date we have already catered for a variety of parties from 40th birthdays to post wedding gatherings in this manner and it works well.

Music can be provided at your request from bands to DJ’s depending on your budget.  We have suggestions depending on the mood you want to create.
